What a great meeting last night! Our guest speaker, Krista Murtfeldt, spoke in the first half. Krista equipped us with tips on mindfulness, holiday survival, and grief management. We had another big turnout, and split into two groups at the half. Thanks to Annie H. who’s taken the helm of co-host and was a natural facilitator!
Wanted to let everyone know that we are purposely creating kid-free zones this month for our community to gather.
First up is this Sunday, Dec. 4th at Felicia’s house in Phinney Ridge. Food’s covered, bring a beverage to share but most importantly, just come hang out. White Elephant gift exchange optional. If you didn’t receive the Evite, e-mail us!
Also, we’ve reserved the Sunflower party suite inside Flatstick Pub (Pioneer Square) on Friday, Dec. 9th. We’ve got a tee times reserved for groups of 4-5 at a time. Look for a separate invitation to the RESOLVE mailing list and please RSVP only if you’re a Maybe or a Yes.
Besides put-put, there are plenty of other games to keep people busy. UPDATED: The party got moved to Jan. 14 due to the weather.
Hope to see you in December — at one of the above or the Dec. 28 meeting. If we don’t see you, sending best wishes for the season and comforting thoughts during the tender holiday time.
