We are volunteers, each with our own stories, whose goal is to connect people in our community with faces and spaces for mutual support during the harder family-building journey. We are continually inspired by the camaraderie and open hearts of the people we meet.
Annie K. is personally acquainted with pregnancy loss and pursued egg freezing with the uphill battle of diminished ovarian reserve. Annie is a RESOLVE advocate for family-building legislation. On her first Advocacy Day in DC, RESOLVE encouraged Annie to evolve it into a RESOLVE support group for Seattle, which was born Oct. 2015. Annie will attend her fourth Advocacy Day this May, her second time in the role of training the infertility advocate community.
Jessica W. has had three surgeries for severe Asherman’s Syndrome (scarring in the uterus). With her uterus now clear of scarring, she and her husband have been trying to conceive via IVF since early 2016. After many unsuccessful transfers, they are now at the “edge of science” trying new tests and methods to try to help them “grow the love.” Jessica is happy to begin co-hosting the RESOLVE Greenwood group in fall 2017.
